Frost is an Associate Professor of Organizational Behaviour and the Walter J. Thompson Faculty Fellow at the Richard Ivey School of Business. Prior to joining the school in 1995, Frost was a doctoral fellow at the Centre for Industrial Competitiveness at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, and a research associate at MIT's Industrial Performance Centre. She earned her BComm and MSc from the University of British Columbia and a Ph.D. in industrial relations from the Sloan School of Management, MIT. Her research interests include workplace restructuring in comparative context, comparative industrial relations and human resource management, and the dynamics of organizational change. She is currently engaged in a Russell-Sage and Rockefeller Foundation funded study of changes in low skilled - low wage work in the American hospital industry. Research Interests

She received her doctorate in industrial relations and human resource management from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management. Her research focuses on new work systems and inequality, contingent work, alternative dispute resolution, and the effects of flexible work arrangements, such as telework, on work-life outcomes.
